Identity Prefix Code
Unless you order an 'exclusive to you' text in number, to register on your Waiting List, people will text-in your Text-In Code together with their name.
This Text-In code is made up of your Identity Prefix Code (set here) followed by some numbers set elsewhere.
An Identity Prefix code is between 3 and 7 characters long. It can't include spaces or numbers.
We recommend that if you can, create an Identity Prefix Code that makes sense for your business and is easy for your customers to type in.
For example, a fish and chip shop might use fshnchp or a podiatrist might choose podman. Cutelocks Hairdressing might go for CuteH.
When sms’ed in by a customer, the case of the letters they type isn’t important. If someone using it types CuteH or cuteh or CUTEH, all are regarded as the same by the system.
